Synamedia has a zero-tolerance approach to Modern Slavery of any kind within our operations and supply chain. We recognise that it is our responsibility to take a robust approach to slavery and human trafficking.
ABOUT THIS POLICY
Synamedia Holdings Limited and subsidiary companies (herein referred to as “we” or “our”) strive to act ethically and with integrity in all of our business dealings to protect the human rights of workers, both within our business and supply chains. We are absolutely committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking within our corporate activities.
OUR ORGANISATION
Synamedia Holdings Limited is part of the Synamedia Group which is the largest independent global provider of video solutions. Our aim is to change the way PayTV operators and other media companies deliver, protect and monetize their content. Synamedia has over 2300 employees worldwide, with offices in over 10 different countries, including locations in Europe, Asia and North America.
OUR POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
We operate several policies and procedures which reflect our commitment to acting properly in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls.
Our key policies and procedures which contribute to minimising the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking within our organisation and our supply chain include:
- Employee Code of Conduct – Synamedia’s code makes clear to employees the actions and behaviour expected of them when representing Synamedia. We strive to maintain the highest standards of employee conduct and ethical behaviour when operating abroad and managing our supply chain.
- Supplier Code of Conduct – Synamedia is committed to ensuring that its suppliers adhere to the highest standards.
- Whistleblowing Policy – Synamedia’s whistleblowing procedure sets out guidelines and is designed to encourage our employees to report any wrongdoings without fear of retaliation.
- Recruitment Procedures – Synamedia operates robust recruitment procedures, including conducting eligibility to work in the UK checks for all employees to safeguard against human trafficking or individuals being forced to work against their will.
This Statement is reviewed annually in line with the principles in the Modern Slavery Act 2015. A current version of this document is available to all members of staff and is published on our Synamedia website and our corporate intranet.
