For us Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) is about contributing to a better society based on the actions of every single employee – not just ‘top-down’ policies and programs. We call it Synamedia Horizons.
Our Horizon’s programme is underpinned by three core pillars. Every employee’s encouraged to participate; by volunteering, living more sustainably or by helping support a more inclusive working environment.
We embrace our differences – it makes us stronger. We promote openness, diversity and inclusivity, and ensure everyone is respected, safe, comfortable and supported, with special regard to mental wellbeing.
We constantly seek ways of working more sustainably. We use renewable energy sources efficiently and have increased remote working, reduced air travel and support ‘cycle to work’ programmes, Trees4life and other green projects.
We love to hear about the positive ways our people are impacting their own communities. Our Time2Give programme gives everyone in the company paid leave to volunteer with their chosen charities. In addition, our DonateADay initiative enables employees to donate a day’s pay to charitable causes.
