Have you ever wondered how we meet so many different customer needs? The answer is often thanks to our incredible ecosystem of Video Network partners who add specialist technologies and expertise to our portfolio. Here’s just a taste of what we’ll be serving up in Las Vegas. And don’t forget to use the link at the bottom to book any demos at the show.
Advancing CDNs and Network Security
Our latest CDN capabilities turbocharge content delivery with elastic caching, multi-CDN switching and more. These new offerings ensure peak performance, prevent congestion and optimize bandwidth for an uninterrupted viewing experience. Here’s how partners are contributing:
We are leveraging the flexibility of AWS’ cloud infrastructure for our latest Fluid EdgeCDN feature: elastic caching. With it, CDN operators can launch additional caches, whenever and wherever additional CDN capacity is needed.
Mux provides real-time QoE insights that underpin our newly launched Quortex Switch tool. Mux QoE insights inform balancing decisions for uninterrupted streaming and rapid disaster recovery.
In the fight against CDN leeching, Synamedia is leading the charge with a joint demonstration with Akamai, showcasing content steering secure token distribution in a multi-CDN environment. This approach, based on the recently standardized CAT token, ensures that only authorized users access content, enhancing security without adding latency. This innovation is available today for all players that use the latest HLS and DASH standards, as demonstrated with castLabs and dash.js.
The debut of our Media over QUIC (MOQ) Observability Platform with our partner Hydrolix which collects logs across the MOQ distribution pipeline to provide real-time insights into performance, congestion and latency. This is the direct result of our work on improving latency and scalability as part of our contributions to the MoQ working group at IETF.
B2B Distribution
We are showcasing event-driven cloud processes and powerful edge regionalization capabilities that enhance distribution, reduce friction and lower operational costs. Here’s more on the important roles of our partners:
Quortex Link enhances event distribution by combining Synamedia vDCM video processing with InSync FrameFormer motion compensated standards conversion and AI Media LEXI live captioning technology for global regionalized distribution.
For 24/7 primary distribution, the Media Edge Gateway brings live HTML5 graphics insertion from VizRT using Viz Flowics at the edge for affiliate handoff with enhanced localization capabilities enabling tailored graphics packages.
For ATSC3.0 regional content collection, the Media Edge Gateway is the perfect solution combining ATSC 1.0 and 3.0 reception with Triveni Digital StreamScope ATSC analyzer for all ATSC collection, decoding and monitoring needs.
D2C Streaming
Part of our Quortex SaaS portfolio, Quortex Play runs on AWS and is available in the AWS Marketplace. Along with partner technologies, these solutions support sports streaming scaling and help to maximize revenues. Sports streamers can launch in minutes, ensure seamless service with real-time monitoring, forecast costs per season with our flexible business models, and increase engagement with social streaming and dynamic ads.
Here’s a glimpse of the partner innovations we’ll have in our booth, addressing both on-prem and SaaS requirements:
Google Ad Manager with Synamedia Quortex Play to monetize premium video with direct reservations, programmatic sales, and Sever Side Ad-Insertion (SSAI).
Server Guided Ad Insertion with castLabs’ PRESTOplay video player for more personalized, scalable, low latency ad insertion
Live-to-VoD highlight clipping for social media with AI-driven subtitling, utilizing video cloud production and delivery with Yuzzit’s technology and Quortex Play.
Go beyond traditional ad break during sports events and create new monetization opportunities. Together with EaseLive, which provides overlays that synchronize with live video and can show live stats, polls and quizzes, we allow content owners to deliver contextual ads at scale and drive user engagement. We’ll be showcasing it alongside our ad insertion for sports streaming.
On Monday, April 7th, join us for breakfast in our booth W2443, co-hosted with AWS. To schedule a tour of the demos at The NAB Show, April 5-9, please click here. Read more about Synamedia solutions at NAB in this press release.
